Great news! On January 19th, the residents of the Town of Southport voted in amendments to the Town’s ordinance to allow a renovation of the public wharf and seasonal restaurant on the Town’s property in Cozy Harbor.

The proposed facility will include a completely restored building on a new wharf designed to support the local fishing community as well as recreational uses. The restaurant will offer casual food, ice cream and a soda fountain… much like Earl Pratt’s Store that operated from this location for many, many years!

All of this would not be possible without the generosity of local resident Paul Coulombe, who is supporting the revitalization project on the Town’s behalf. Knickerbocker Group is now pursuing the local, State and Federal permits for the project as well as developing the architectural design for the building’s renovation.
