Decker Reef Exterior
Our challenge was to fast-track this project to design and build a new cottage in a pristine setting in less than a year. An existing cottage was removed to better the site exposure and to maximize the expansive views of Monhegan Island.

Decker Reef Stone Chimney
This design allows for private rooms surrounding a two-story great room, stone fireplace, and impressive wall of glass. Its new site orientation even created the bonus of a tree-framed view of an osprey nest from the den.

Decker Reef Interior
Our clients took great delight in selecting "treasures" for their new home, from among their many travels. Antique light fixtures, English doorknobs, Euro-style faucets, reclaimed wood floors, and objects d'art grace their walls and open shelves.

Decker Reef Screen Porch
A red cedar screen porch anchors the cottage to the outdoors and the sound of the wind and the waves. Naturalized landscaping of hardy species and fields of lupine make this home a pleasurable vacation getaway.
