After graduating from Boston University with a bachelor’s in journalism, Jen honed her eye assisting a commercial adventure and travel photographer in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She then spent a decade in New York, where she worked in senior editorial roles in both print and digital at award-winning national design magazines and online media companies. In Maine, Jen served as the managing editor of a leading regional design magazine, shining a spotlight on the state’s talented building and maker community, and also worked as an interior designer on coastal residential projects at a Kennebunkport-based firm. She brings her creative eye, editorial-style writing, and passion for good design to the marketing department, where she does everything from posting Instagram stories to styling photo shoots.

She lives in an 1865 townhouse in Portland’s West End with her husband and two young children.
