After graduating from Bates College, Haynes worked for a full-service sports and entertainment firm in New York City. He specialized in consulting with professional and collegiate sports teams to help build and renovate their stadiums. The exposure to large scale design and construction fostered his interest in architecture and eventually lead to his career change.
Haynes attended the Tulane School of Architecture in New Orleans, where he went on to work for a firm that combined real estate development and architecture.
Haynes has always loved Maine and joining Knickerbocker Group allowed him to collaborate with a team at the forefront of design/build innovation.
In his free time, he loves to explore the outdoors with his wife and daughters.
