Mel is a life-long creative with a passion for architectural design and sustainability. She is thrilled to be part of Knickerbocker Group, where she can collaborate with like-minded Mainers on positive contributions to the local landscape. Mel works as a Technical Designer with our Interiors team, ensuring each designer’s vision is properly supported within the technical drawings, 3D models and renderings.
She holds an Associate degree in Architectural Design Technology and has worked as a drafting manager as well as a drafter for residential homes, metal frame buildings, closet designs, landscape architecture and pool houses.
Outside of design, she is an active artist and dancer with over 10 years’ experience teaching ballroom. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tabletop games, and learning new skills; most recently designing and building her 1st bay window seat.
