Scout graduated from Bates College with a bachelor’s in visual culture—her thesis was titled, The Influence of Victorian Cultures on Interiors in America—and she continued her studies in the history of decorative arts at Sotheby’s in London.
That passion for the arts and architecture led to her career practicing design, and her professional experience includes working with firms from Charleston to Maine. She moved back to Maine for its way of life, and now, as an interior designer at Knickerbocker Group, she loves designing space with her client’s lifestyle in mind. Her love of history gives her a unique perspective on design, allowing her to collaborate with clients to create authentic spaces that have a strong sense of home.
Scout has a passion for the outdoors: You can spot her in the mountains and around the coast of Maine skiing, surfing, or flying in her little red plane with her dog and husband.
