Inside, it is all classic Maine Cottage. A central gathering room with identical extensions on either side is bracketed by two fireplaces. Fir strip flooring, trim and wainscot with local stone make a winning combination.

At the end of the day, the project was an engineering and logistical triumph—with so many opportunities to show off our craft, how could we not be proud!

A sunken tub surrounded by radiant fir and marble quietly beckons a restful respite.

Sea glass colors, contemporary appliances, and pendant lighting set off the rich honed granite and butcher block counter tops.

Its craftsmanship and form, sheltering roof, and dramatic triangular forms rise toward the sky. This unique cottage was worthy of the spectacular island site and the ingenuity to get it there.
