ABOUT

Kyle Burkett

Senior Construction Project Manager

Born and raised in Maine, Kyle grew up immersed in the construction industry, inspired by his father’s 40-year career owning and operating a construction company. That early exposure sparked an appreciation for craftsmanship and the process of bringing homes to life.

Kyle earned his master’s degree in architecture and spent 14 years in the Boston area, building a diverse background in architecture, construction, renovation, and real estate. His experience includes managing residential projects from early planning through construction, with a particular interest in historic preservation and thoughtfully designed new homes. This well-rounded perspective allows him to balance design intent with the practical considerations of construction, budget, and long-term value.

As Senior Construction Project Manager at Knickerbocker Group, Kyle works closely with clients, designers, trade partners, and project teams to guide projects from planning through completion. He brings a collaborative, hands-on approach and a commitment to creating homes that are as functional and enduring as they are beautiful.

KG culture, mission + values

Kyle values Knickerbocker Group’s collaborative approach, bringing architecture, construction, interiors, landscape, and property care together around a shared commitment to thoughtful design and craftsmanship. He looks forward to learning from his colleagues and contributing his diverse experience to creating meaningful spaces for clients.

Life in Maine

For Kyle, Maine is all about family traditions at his family’s ocean house in Northport—lobster bakes, family reunions, and afternoons spent watching boats pass by. He’s also particularly fond of fall, from the crisp air and changing leaves to the anticipation of the holiday season.
