WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT

Full-Time | Estimated Start: July 2019 | Boothbay Campus

Job Duties:

  • Control and manage inventory.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations.
  • Inspect and log incoming orders.
  • Process outgoing orders.
  • Communicate with drivers and project managers to ensure efficient delivery of products.
  • Inspect conditions of warehouse, as well as tools and equipment used in warehouse and issue work orders as needed.
  • Ensure warehouse safety compliance at all times, safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure warehouse complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Ensure quality levels and delivery deadlines are met.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling, assigning tasks, and following up on results.
  • Liaison with design staff and project managers.
  • Develops and implements warehouse policies.
  • Light carpentry and painting.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Forklift experience
  • OSHA Certification

JUNIOR INTERIOR/ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Knickerbocker Group is seeking a creative and passionate individual to join our team in our Portland office as a full-time Junior Interior/Architectural Designer.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assisting project architects & lead designers on architectural projects to ensure that construction is
    in accordance with design specifications
  • Translating sketch ideas into CADD
  • Preparing technical, detailed architectural drawings for construction projects based on building
    specifications, calculations and sketches
  • Visiting construction sites to collect measurements and dimensions as needed
  • Producing and presenting materials and CADD documents
  • Converting hand drawn markups (redlines) into CADD

PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

  • Manage ordering process for company
  • Work with company software to create and update vendors, clients, payments, invoices and purchase orders
  • Oversee procurement of product
    • Create & send purchase orders
    • Order product & answer questions from vendors
    • Ensure receipt of vendor confirmations; check accuracy
    • Set up and manage shipments
    • Track all orders on a weekly basis to ensure on-time delivery
  • Review and approve all sub-consultant and vendor invoices; verify costs against orders
  • Create and distribute procurement invoices to clients; maintain billing timelines
  • Track vendor and client payments; monitor credit card activity
  • Maintain job financials with emphasis on company profitability standards
  • Assist warehouse personnel with shipping and receiving as needed

Job Requirements:
