October 2026
Employee ownership in action
October marks Employee Ownership Month, and this year, we kicked things off with our first-ever Day of Impact, bringing our team together to give back alongside our friends at Hearty Roots. Based in Midcoast Maine, Hearty Roots is on a mission to guide young people off the grid and into their hearts through outdoor adventure, connection, and reflection. Through its outdoor campus in Bremen and programs across Lincoln County, the organization served 1,600 young people in 2026.

Our team spent the day planting a sensory garden, blazing trails, clearing space for a future fire pit and deck, restoring benches, splitting wood, and much more. But the best part of the day wasn’t just what we accomplished—it was doing it together.

A shared commitment to care
As a 100% employee-owned company, we believe that ownership extends beyond our work. It means taking pride in what we create, being personally invested in the relationships we build, and caring deeply for the communities we call home. For our clients, that shared sense of ownership translates to a team that is invested in every detail, committed to collaboration, and dedicated to creating places that will be enjoyed for generations.
Our Day of Impact was a meaningful reminder that the same spirit of collaboration and care that guides our work can make a difference beyond it. We’re grateful to the incredible team at Hearty Roots for welcoming us and for the important work they do every day.
