ABOUT

Cheri Murray

Resource Studio Coordinator

Cheri originally started her career in architecture as an intern for a prominent architect/builder in Southern Maine. She then pivoted to a 29-year career in public service in both municipal government and the justice system. Later, her desire to return to her creative roots inspired Cheri to join our team at Knickerbocker Group. Though her career path has evolved in numerous capacities, the underlying theme is one of support and encouragement. Cheri finds great joy in connecting with people and being creative. In her role as Resource Studio Coordinator, Cheri welcomes clients into our Boothbay Campus Studio and assists them with any home décor or furnishings purchases. She also creates and maintains strong relationships with local artisans and craftsmen, supports our interior design team, and is assigned smaller-scale interior design client projects.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Currently, Cheri’s stepson is in his final year of high school at Lincoln Academy and is a prominent member of the varsity basketball team. Cheri and her family are heavily supportive of the team and fundraising efforts to make this last year the best experience possible for all the players involved.

KG CULTURE, MISSION + VALUES

To Cheri, one of the best parts of working at Knickerbocker Group is the supportive environment.  Everyone is approachable and willing to share their talents, ideas, and experience. It really is a team atmosphere!

LIFE IN MAINE

Cheri loves being on the water. It doesn’t matter if it is a lake or ocean. There’s nothing like it. To Cheri, it feeds your soul, and she feels so blessed living here in Maine where we get to experience both.
