Nanette came to Knickerbocker Group after spending many years working in the design industry with a focus on public relations, marketing, product development, and visual merchandising. With degrees in both graphic design and psychology, Nanette holds unique insight into how aesthetics and design help shape the atmosphere of an environment and the intricate relationship between how a space looks and how a space feels.

Nanette grew up moving every five to seven years with her parents, who made adventurous house choices.  Eventually landing in Maine, they built a modern passive solar home. These experiences, along with the fact her mother is also an interior designer, instilled an appreciation for all types of home styles and fueled her passion for interior design.

Nanette lives in Scarborough with her husband, Craig, and their two children, Wyatt and Tegan. They are always ready for outdoor adventures such as surfing, biking, and skiing, and are endlessly appreciative of the many benefits offered by life on the coast of Maine.
