ABOUT

Trevor Watson

Design Studio Leader, Architecture

As a Design Studio Leader, Trevor manages the overall design of residential projects—working closely with clients to bring their vision to reality. He works diligently to create thoughtfully flowing homes, where rooms relate to other rooms and spaces within the land. Key to Trevor’s process is also striving to be a client advocate at all times—making sure their voice, concerns, and wants are heard and incorporated into the final project design.

Having spent nearly 20 years designing coastal properties in Maine, Trevor has an intuitive ability to refine a client’s vision into a thoughtful design that suits their needs and lifestyles. His work has been featured in the Washington Post, Maine Home + Design, Coastal Living, and Down East. Previous experience in New York and Boston included both commercial and residential projects, allowing Trevor to develop a keen attention to the importance of efficiency, intricacies of permitting, and regard for bespoke details. For Trevor, communication and collaboration are critical. He values being a designer and collaborator who asks, “Why not” rather than “Why.”

Trevor holds a Bachelor of Art in Architecture from Hobart and completed his Master’s coursework at The Boston Architecture Center. He also actively donates his time to the City of Portland, MMC development oversite boards, PWM noise committee and the Western Prom Neighborhood Board, where he recently played a crucial role in the renovation of Andrew’s Square into a safer pedestrian intersection.
