Emma FitzGerald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design, with additional studies in marketing and illustration. Originally from Maine, she returned to her home state to build her career and raise her family, drawn by the landscapes and community that continue to shape her work. Emma spent many years thriving as a freelance designer and marketing professional before taking on the role of Art Director at a leading publishing and media firm in Southern Maine.
Today, as a member of Knickerbocker Group’s collaborative team, she continues to pursue her passion for thoughtful marketing, brand strategy, and design across a diverse range of projects, always with a focus on meaningful storytelling and fostering authentic connections that align with mission and values.
Passionate about visual storytelling, typography, and the power of environment, Emma brings a holistic, creative approach to her work—rooted in her love for art, nature, and relationships. She finds inspiration in Maine’s natural beauty, in nurturing creativity with her family, and in the ongoing exploration of design, storytelling, and place. For Emma, Maine is not just home—it is a continual source of creativity and curiosity.

Life in Maine
For those raised in Maine, days were immersed in outdoor pursuits—exploring, innovating, and nurturing curiosity. To this day, curious time is spent on wooded trails to wandering the array of museums on a rainy afternoon.
