Michael’s passion for landscaping began at a young age while working as a waterer at a local nursery in his hometown of Newtown, Connecticut. Discovering how much he enjoyed working with plants, he soon transitioned to the company’s landscape division and ultimately decided to pursue a degree in horticulture. After graduating from SUNY with a focus in plant science and landscape design, he began creating beautiful outdoor spaces for a landscape design-build firm serving Fairfield County, Connecticut. Drawn by his love of Maine, Michael relocated and has since spent many years working for respected landscape firms across the state, as well as operating his own landscape design company.
At Knickerbocker Group, Michael serves as Landscape Project Manager within our Property Care team. As a Certified Arborist, he brings expertise in tree health, landscape improvements, and hardscape enhancements. His addition further strengthens the connection between our Landscape Architecture and Property Care teams, providing clients with seamless support from design and installation through ongoing care and maintenance.
In addition to his role as Landscape Project Manager, Michael is a full-time Firefighter and AEMT with the City of Bath.
