Kerry Lewis, PLA Bio

Kerry Lewis has been a licensed landscape architect since 1993 and is currently licensed in Massachusetts and Maine. Kerry joined Knickerbocker Group after two decades running her own successful practice, Kerry Lewis Landscape Architecture, as well as years of professional practice with firms in Boston, New York and San Francisco. For Kerry, collaboration with a multi-faceted team provides a superior experience, allowing the landscape design to cohesively integrate with the architecture and interior design. At Knickerbocker Group, Kerry works directly with our design team and clients from project conception to completion. Additionally, Kerry will oversee the growth of Knickerbocker Group’s landscape architecture practice, finding, training and mentoring talent.

Kerry graduated from Cornell University with a BS with distinction in Landscape Architecture. Her designs are ecologically-minded, using locally sourced plants and materials that complement the architecture of the home, nesting the structures into the surrounding landscape. She comes by her love of plants and natural areas from growing up on a farm in the Hudson Valley region of New York where her parents owned and operated a perennial nursery in the area for many years.

She can most often be found experimenting in her own garden.
